Taxonomy difficult

The taxonomy of species of the genus Anthurium is relatively difficult. Some species have very variable characteristics that cause confusion when we try to identify. Currently I am using a tool such as cytogenetics to solve some taxonomic problems, but unfortunately the results are not as accurate, but show some tendency to separate species similar. Someone already tried to use cytogenetic studies to assist in the taxonomy of some group?

Niels Jacobsen has done a

Niels Jacobsen has done a lot of work on the cytology of the genus Cryptocoryne and I think it has been very helpful in sorting out the taxonomic complexities. I think his email is nika@life.ku.dk
All the best
