The list of species of flora has been completed, but has not yet been published. Firsthand inform you that Brazil has 35 genera and 475 species (the number could reach 500 with the new species, mainly of Anthurium, not yet published). I would like to thank everyone who participated in making the list of the family Araceae (Cassia Sakuragui, Livia Temponi, Lourdes Soares, Simon Mayo).

Araceae Checklist of Brazil
Dear Marcus and Brazilian aroiders: Congratulations on an important and innovative piece of work done!
Will the list be available on the internet sometime? We will need to update CATE with the new species. Please register on CATE itself if you haven't already done so. We can do web pages there in different languages, so new species published in portuguese can go straight on without translation and then anybody who wants to make a translation can do that and upload it too. This means multilingual pages are possible and desirable.
Grande abracos
