The Cate-Araceae team would like the community to give feedback on the content of the CATE-araceae website (found at www.cate-araceae.org). It is a website that is under development.
An important feature on the website is the interactive keys, where Keys to the genera of Araceae and the genus Arum are already available. We are currently producing Keys to the genera Philodendron and Anthurium, and a Key on African Araceae.
We would like feed back on the currently operational keys with any bugs being highlighted.
In the key the link next to Lagenandra does not take the user to the Lagenandra genus page. This is a problem we are aware of and will be rectified in the near future.
Until then if the user wishes to look at the genus Lagenandra when using the key, they can open a new window with www.cate-araceae.org and use the drop down menu on the left of the screen or use the search menu.
When the Key is accessed from the cate-araceae website, there is a security warning message which appears before the Key finishes uploading. This is a message about the University of Queensland which have developed the software the Key is built in.
It is completely safe to click 'yes' and access the key.
PLEASE ACCESS THE INTERACTIVE KEYS HERE OR ON THE CATE SITE
>>>Genera of araceae
>>>Genus Arum
The Arum pages and key are out of date since Peter Boyce's paper came out in Aroideana volume 29. Later on in the project when proposals and contributions can be made it will be easier to keep the website up to date.

This should be fixed in the next release (December 2007)
The link to Lagenandra now works.
There will soon be interactive keys to Anthurium and Philodendron on the CATE site. With a Key to all african araceae due in August.
These 2 new keys are up to the largest genera, these are really helpful in trying to name these 2 large and difficult groups. Please let us know what you think.
